What My Horses and Doves Say to a Person People often ask me how my animals “communicate” during a session — how a dove knows where to land, how a horse knows when to step forward, how they choose the exact moment to breathe with someone or turn away or return. The truth is simple: they speak in the language of the soul. And when you learn to listen, their messages are unmistakable. My horses and doves don’t use words. They use presence. They use timing. They use the subtle field — the place where the body remembers what the mind has forgotten. Below is the living vocabulary they use, translated into human language. 🕊️ What My Doves Say Doves speak in the language of the heart. Their medicine is softness, innocence, breath, and the quiet courage of opening. When a dove steps toward you “There is a part of you ready to be seen.” When a dove lands on your shoulder “You don’t have to carry this alone anymore.” When a dove lands on your hand “Your touch is still holy. You are safe to reach again.” When a dove circles before landing “Your heart is remembering something ancient. I’m giving you time.” When a dove coos near your chest “Your grief is a doorway, not a flaw.” When a dove stays close but doesn’t land “I’m here. You don’t have to open all at once.” Doves are the keepers of tenderness. They show people the parts of themselves they’ve been protecting for too long. 🐎 What My Horses Say Horses speak in the language of truth and embodiment. Their medicine is sovereignty, alignment, breath, and the courage to stand in your real shape. When Maverick steps toward you with certainty “Stop shrinking. Your truth is bigger than your fear.” When Maverick locks eyes with you “I see the part of you that refuses to lie anymore.” When DeMayo approaches slowly and breathes with you “Come back into your body. It’s been waiting for you.” When DeMayo mirrors your breath “You don’t have to fight your own rhythm.” When a horse turns its side toward you “Lean. You are allowed to receive support.” When a horse walks away and then returns “I needed you to choose presence. Now I can meet you.” Horses are truth-tellers. They show people where they are out of alignment — and where they are ready to return. 🌬️ When They Speak Together When both the doves and the horses choose someone, the message becomes layered, like two instruments playing the same song in different octaves. “Your heart is opening. Your truth is rising. Your body is remembering. We are here to walk you home to yourself.” This is the medicine of my ranch — not performance, not training, not symbolism. It is a living field of presence where animals speak the language of the soul, and people remember how to listen.
